Wax Melt Care
Flameless fragrance, zero fuss. Here’s how to get the best from your 405 Craft wax melts.
Using Your Wax Melts
- Place 1–2 cubes in the dish of a wax warmer, electric or tea-light style. One cube is usually plenty for a small room.
- Never add water to the dish. The wax is designed to melt on its own.
- Enjoy until the fragrance fades, then change the wax. Each cube typically gives 8–12 hours of fragrance.
Safety
- Never leave a warmer unattended. Turn it off or extinguish the tea light when leaving the room.
- The dish gets hot. Keep warmers out of reach of children and pets, on a stable heat-resistant surface away from flammables.
- Do not eat wax melts. Keep them away from children and pets.
- Never pour melted wax down a drain.
Changing the Wax
- Warm and wipe: while the wax is warm, not hot, soak it up with a cotton ball or two and wipe the dish clean.
- Freeze and pop: let the wax harden fully, then put the dish in the freezer for 10–15 minutes. The wax shrinks and pops right out.
Storage
- Store wax melts in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to preserve color and fragrance.
- Keep unused cubes in their clamshell or an airtight container. They’ll hold scent for many months.
- If melts soften in summer heat, chill them in the fridge for 20–30 minutes before snapping.
